Well, annoying you seems to be as good a purpose as any. It’s basically what I exist for (although there’s only one of me compared to millions of wasps).
I don’t understand why you don’t like them so much, if you leave them alone they generally don’t sting you. And if they do, it’s not like it particularly hurts (except when it’s in your ear!)
