Twitter assides!

Well, looks like I finally got it working as it should, I can now publish little assides about whatever is going on from my mobile, from the site and via email, go me!

Basically the assides category mimics whatever I post to Twitter. If you know Twitter at all you know it’s basically a free service similar to the Facebook status updates only it only does the status updates. As they say the idea is to answer just one question with an update, “What are you doing?”.

My assides were designed for me to post little comments, mini updates and what not about whatever I’m doing at the moment. Maybe I’m watching a good film, I can post that to the assides. What’s more with Twitter I don’t need to boot up the computer, I can just text it instead from my chair!

So yes, that’s what it’s going to do. My assides is what I’m doing right now, any thoughts, comments or whatever I feel like posting.

A word of warning though, if all goes well the updates will come thick and fast, which means those using RSS will be unable to differentiate the blog posts from assides. At the bottom of the page there are some links that allow you to just have the RSS for the blog or just the assides so you can split them up.

Anywho, off I go to eat some food now! Ciao!

I passed! Horray!! I got my results on Monday morning at about quarter passed midnight and I have passed my degree with a 2:1 - I am officially a graduate at last, yes there is still a ceremony bit to go but that is ages away not until September. So yeah, horray! I’m dead chuffed, and of course really pleased that all my friends did well too, so far as I can tell everyone else got a 2:1 so I shall say congratulations to them too in this blog, even though none of them read it, haha.

So yes, degree finally over… what now? Well, did some food tasting yesterday for the wedding and it is amazing, seriously the food is so nice. For those of you coming to the wedding the food is certainly something to look forward too! Plus the guest list is complete, we’ve got a little under 120 people coming to the reception, which is a lot! More than I thought would come so that’s really great. Erm, what else… oh yes, honeymoon booked, we’ll keep the exact location secret, haha. But it’s a really nice place thats really remote in the country near the Lake District so that will be great I’m looking forward to that.

Not much else to report really. I hope those who actually read this blog have enjoyed my fairly recent blog updates of late! Especially my pole dancing bears! lol.

Also, I have discovered Twitter which is a whole heap of fun. Twitter is what I will be using to publish my assides from now on as it allows easy mobile posting via SMS. The assides are little comments I post about whatever happens to be happening at the time. If you don’t want constant RSS updates of Twitter and you use RSS then change to using the blog only feed at the bottom of the page.

That’s it for now, I shall post again later maybe if something interesting takes my fancy to write about! Feel free to comment now and then, I miss getting comments!

I’ve made a few changes to the site, it is now an even more wonderous place to be! haha.

Firstly, at the bottom of the page you will find some different RSS feeds for blogs and for assides. I realised it was silly having the assides in the same feed as the blog, so now you can get them in different feeds.

Secondly, a homepage has returned. Don’t know what I’m going to do with it, but there you go.

Thirdly, I have added a photo album piece of software for you know… photos and stuff. Doesn’t work 100% at the moment I don’t think, but that might be the CSS just not liking Safari.

Finally, I am thinking of adding the newly released forum software to the site. I’ve not had a forum on this site since I was in Year 12, who knows who would use it. But if you like the idea, let me know and I’ll go about adding it.
